Riverside Festival 2012	Riverside Festival 2012 Cancelled! (news report) Stamford Town Council and the organisers of Riverside Festival have had to call off Riverside Festival 2012 at the last minute due to safety concerns following the heavy rain overnight on 5 July. The site is suffering from flooding in various places, including within the St John Ambulance marquee, and if it continues to rain there is a danger that the rivers surrounding the Festival site might overflow. Vehicles cannot currently use the site, which is waterlogged, which means that the organisers cannot continue with preparations for the Festival, and have reluctantly had to call off the entire Festival. We are currently in the process of contacting all of the performers and contractors involved in putting together the Festival, and we would appreciate your help in spreading the word. If you have purchased tickets for the event, please contact us / Stamford Arts Centre in order to arrange for a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the Festival.

Riverside Festival 2012	Riverside Festival 2012 (Official Promotional Video) Riverside Festival 2012 presents 'Rock On The Meadows' on Saturday 7th July 2012. The festival will be held at it's traditional site on the Meadows in Stamford, Linclonshire. This year a total of 34 bands and artists will be featured, bringing you live music across a wide range of genres on the three main stages, with an additional 'Buskers Stage' showcasing some further acts. Further entertainment will be provided by the Wordfest (poetry & story telling), childrens' workshops and entertainment, the real ale & cider festival, a traditional family fun fair, retail stalls and food from around the world, and of course the spectacular firework display!

WizzFest 2011	WizzFest 2011 (Official Video) Bigger and better than ever, 2011 was the third year that WizzFest has run. The festival which had been sold out some weeks before already, took place in Aalter in Belgium on the 19th March 2011, with Blaze Bayley, Fury UK, Lost InSanity, Nightvision, Wizzard, Cambion, Exit State, Visitor, Lime Shark and Spooneye. This video gives a taste of the event and captures some of the atmosphere and excitement that is WizzFest!
WizzFest 2010	WizzFest 2010 (Official Video) Bigger and better this year, WizzFest 2010 showcased an impressive line-up of bands, featuring acts from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland and France. This video gives a flavour of the performances of the bands that appeared at the festival venue in Aalter, Belgium, and also includes interviews with some of the bands and with the organisers of the festival. Why Volunteer?	Riverside Festival - Why Volunteer? (Infomercial) The Riverside Festival has been the finale of the Stamford Festival for 30 years, originally titled Rock on the Rec and then Music on the Meadows. For the past 10 years it has been run as the Riverside Festival, and in 2007 it was registered as a not-for-profit Limited Company and Registered Charity and is run entirely by volunteers. We rely on volunteers to help us both at the event and year round, and the more volunteers we have the easier it is for everyone. Riverside Festival 2008	Riverside Festival 2008 (Official Video) Get a glimpse of some of the hard work and organisation the dedicated team of volunteers undertake to put on the very popular Riverside Festival on the Stamford Meadows on the 1st Saturday of July each year. This outdoor event showcases at least 30 bands and artists on 3 separate stages, and attracts visitors not only from the surrounding area and region, but from all over the UK. Despite of its huge popularity, the festival is always under threat from lack of funding, specially in the current economic climate. This documentary style promotional video was produced for the Riverside Association for Music and Arts (RAMA) by MetalOnRock Productions.

The event proved to be a great success despite being under threat from the weather and from a lack of funds earlier in the year. This video captures the essence of the event, allowing those who attended it to relive that day, and look forward to the 2008 festival.
